Deputy Secretary General of International Telecommunication Union Visits ISTT

The Deputy Secretary General of International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Mr. Malcolm Johnson, visited Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) and Isfahan Regional Center for Technology Incubator and Science Park Development (IRIS) on the 18th of July, 2019.
This visit which succeeded a previous visit by Mr. Johnson almost a decade ago was organized to demonstrate the development and progress of ISTT in different fields especially in the field of ICT.
Upon the conclusion of visits with the start-ups settled at ISTT and the newly launched science and technology parks and incubators of the town, especially those dedicated to Information Communication Technologies (ICT), the deputy secretary general expressed his surprise at the amount of change and development that had transformed the organization. He also elaborated on the activities of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the different memberships it encompasses.
He went on to hope for future collaborations with the start-up companies at ISTT, the organization itself and IRIS the category II UNESCO center hosted by ISTT.
